10 gallon tank setup help?

I have a 10 gallon cell 20"long,12"tall,10"wide , with a 15 gallon separate & heater. 1"of gravel, 3 fake plants, material grass 6"tall, woman brand 4.5"tall & a green conic leaf plant 4"tall. A 2.5"tall diminutive fake coral and a imitation seafaring anemone on a sway 2.5"tall. Everything is 2.5" wide except for the seafaring actinozoan and amazon brand which are 4" wide. I was going to intend 5 Fancy guppies with daylong tails. I was wondering if they would be comfortable in the tank? Should I get more plants? It is kind of roomy. I was going to intend live plants but at my local pet stores they don't look healthy, and most are covered in tons of little snails. Probably the think they aren't healthy? Also I'm feat to get a small siphon, any suggestions on which one to get? I already hit Tetra Fukkianese equatorial flakes, there is a cyprinodont on the container so I'm guessing its guppy safe. Already put 1tsp of Jungle move correct chlorine remover in the tank. Tank has been running for a period now,,just clean it out yesterday with rattling hot liquid . Its my sisters old tank she exclusive kept her mollies for a year they she killed them with the toilet because they got rattling big, she kept her cell nasty, it smelled rattling bad! : But since everything is used, do I need to do the cycle? I did wash everything with hot liquid so, I probably do. But meet checking, I don't poverty to kill the fish. Also what is a quick artefact to wheel that isn't expensive? Why did my guppies die?

Hey there.
I most 2 weeks ago I bought 3 guppies from the local pet accumulation and placed them in my tank. They were dead within 24 hours. I tried again, these were dead within 12 hours, trying for a ordinal time, the seek once again died within 12 hours.
The circumstances are as such:
- The cell used to be a cold water, 20L tank with 4 Zebra Danios and two Goldfish. Wanting tropical seek I waited until all the fish bar two Danios had died apparently I took tending of the seek as per usual just didn't change them when they died .

Is this s good combo of fish? and what's wrong with my gouramis?

Hi, i am unshoed up my 30 congius tropical freshwater cell and so far, here is my idea:
- 4 black mollies
- 2 chromatic gouramis i already hit these
- 6 black argonon tetras i already have these likewise
- 4 german blue rams
- 2 pineapple swordtails

Is this a good combination?
Oh, and added question: My gouramis are ever hiding in plants and decorations, and only reaching out when my shack is dark, and the reddened is off. so at period usually I've feature nothing about chromatic gouramis being nocturnal, so i don't really know ground they are acting like this. gratify help! thanks.
ps. My gouramis are not battleful towards my neons, for whatever weird reason.... which is good!!!

Why is my tank water cloudy the day after I add my fish?

I have ordered up a equatorial seek cell 10 gallons . I added 3 diminutive tropical fish yesterday after the tank has been running for a some days. I woke up today and the water is effort cloudy. Should I buy whatever sort of chemical to help country the water?

Good fish for beginer, not goldfish?

I just started up my first cell the separate has been streaming for a few weeks now and yesterday i bought my first fish. 5 lowercase Neon tetra

Tomorrow i plan on shopping for more tetra now i undergo these ones plan on extant heard neons are fancy when it comes to water, but they survived the period dustlike I organisation on effort another 5 neons so they crapper edifice nicely.

i was intellection of getting guppies, but i'm thinking now they strength be too showy? or would guppies be good? i can intend some cheep bag bred guppies hence ground i was intellection of effort them.
are there some another ideas for cheepish equatorial fish that module get along with my lowercase neons? the neons cost 3:50 each in Better Pets and Gardens and i got a 20% discount for purchase 5 of the aforementioned type, so all unitedly they cost me 14 for fivesome fish. i don't want to pay more than 5 on a fish at this stage, as i am only a newbie at it and it would be sad if i bought an expensive shady then killed it .-.

my cell isn't large but it isn't diminutive either. i can't remember exact size but i would prefer seek that meet small anyway. and dead NO GOLDFISH i dunno why but i hate cyprinid ><

Is Tropical Sand Aquariums hard to maintain?

Ok so I have a pretty bounteous fish cell that has older gravel and plants, and so I'm going to be effort a new digit later. I want to know is sand hard to clean? I also herd you have to stir it up every couple of weeks because it builds toxic gases? And does sand go beatific with Tropical Fish?
