I meet bought my first 3 guppies & they are every lonely in a 10gallon tank with 5 medium plastic plants, heater, filter & gravel. Petco kinda far away from home , exclusive had lyre tails and I desired cobra guppies.Decided to intend 3 from walmart because they had a assorted type and there was no artefact i was driving all the way back to petco. And there are no other fish stores in my area.So I got 1black guppy- .

10 gallon tank setup help?

I have a 10 gallon tank 20"long,12"tall,10"wide , with a 15 congius filter & heater. 1"of gravel, 3 fake plants, material grass 6"tall, woman sword 4.5"tall & a green oval leaf plant 4"tall. A 2.5"tall small imitation coral and a imitation seafaring anemone on a rock 2.5"tall. Everything is 2.5" wide eliminate for the sea anemone and woman sword which are 4" wide. I was going to get 5 Fancy guppies with long tails. I was wondering if they would be easy in the tank? Should I get more plants? It is kind of roomy. I was feat to intend springy plants but at my topical pet stores they don't countenance healthy, and most are covered in tons of little snails. Probably the reason they aren't healthy? Also I'm feat to get a small siphon, some suggestions on which one to get? I already have Tetra Min tropical flakes, there is a cyprinodont on the container so I'm guessing its guppy safe. Already place 1tsp of Jungle start correct gas remover in the tank. Tank has been streaming for a period now,,just clean it discover yesterday with rattling hot water . Its my sisters old tank she only kept her mollies for a assemblage they she killed them with the toilet because they got rattling big, she kept her tank nasty, it smelled really bad! : But since everything is used, do I need to do the cycle? I did clean everything with blistering liquid so, I belike do. But just checking, I don't want to kill the fish. Also what is a quick way to wheel that isn't expensive? I know that was a bit long, I'm compassionate but I poverty them to live long happy lives. i hit a cyprinodont child with some adult male guppies, should i removed them into assorted tanks? and what matter should i give it? if i were to give it frozen child brine shrimp, how do i kibosh the other guppies from eating all of it?

how do i keep my tank from re-cycling?

I want to add a bigger filter to my tank and then advise the older one onto a smaller cell but i am scared to verify it off and then the cell start cycling every over again and killing my balloon mollies and guppies.

What would help in ownership my tank from cycling every over?

My cell had finished cycling, set nitrites and ammonia and its been running conifer 6-7 Weeks, I utilised a Rosy flushed minnow to cycle it and luckily it survived through the full thing , k i'm planning to keep the minnow, would it be ok if additional a neon tetra a guppy and a ghost shrimp? Or is that to much to add at one time, its a 10g

Good fish for beginer, not goldfish?

I just started up my prototypal tank the separate has been running for a some weeks now and yesterday i bought my first fish. 5 lowercase Neon tetra

Tomorrow i organisation on shopping for more tetra today i undergo these ones organisation on surviving heard neons are fancy when it comes to water, but they survived the night dustlike I plan on effort added 5 neons so they can school nicely.

i was intellection of effort guppies, but i'm intellection today they might be too showy? or would guppies be good? i can intend some cheep home bred guppies thus ground i was thinking of getting them.
are there any other ideas for cheepish equatorial seek that will get along with my little neons? the neons cost 3:50 each in Better Pets and Gardens and i got a 20% reduction for buying 5 of the same type, so all unitedly they outlay me 14 for fivesome fish. i don't want to spend more than 5 on a seek at this stage, as i am only a newbie at it and it would be depressing if i bought an pricey fishy then killed it .-.

my tank isn't super but it isn't small either. i can't advert literal filler but i would prefer seek that meet diminutive anyway. and absolutely NO GOLDFISH i dunno ground but i dislike cyprinid ><

Pregnant Guppies...How long do you think before they drop?

My female guppies are pregnant. They have became extremely large in the past 3 days. The phallic is rattling interested in the large female. Should I vanish them? What crapper I do to make them drop quicker? I do poverty to spend as many fry as I can. You can see the gravid blot which is rattling super and dark. They are ease intake and moving around. They don't seem to be stressed; however the females hit became a lowercase aggressive toward each other and the males. Not nothing serious. I meet purchased a 3 artefact breeder net. I haven't moved no female yet I don't poverty to pronounce them. Should I place them there or purchase a 5-10 gal tank? Here is a recording of the digit female guppies.
