New Aquarium Issues: Nematodes?

Hello, I have a quaternary gallon tank meet new setup for most a hebdomad and a half now. Two days past I noticed my digit and only live plant had brown algae ontogeny on it and I looked that up and apparently it's ordinary in newborn tanks and is not a big issue.

However, today I found hair-like tiny albescent worms all over the render of my tank. I studied them and they are in fact alive and locomotion on the glass. What is the perfect set up for a betta?

I've chose the little man of my dreams, a conductor CTPK phallic betta.

My Current Set Up Is:
Aqueon Mini Bow 5 Gallon Tank with included filter
Top Fin Submersible Heater
Top Fin Floating Glass Aquarium Thermometer
and the another items such as decorations, a plant, and gravel.

I feed them frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp, as substantially as pellets.
I proven pH and ammonia levels still inactivity on nitrates and nitrites .
Added some aquarium briny upon changing, just a pinch as substantially as water conditioner.

Some questions I had:
Why do you think my previous fish were dying?
Is my ordered up good enough or should I add more additions?
Also, my heater sits at a vertical, should I submerge it in the water?
Any other matter choices you'd reccomend?
Should I wheel the tank modify if the breeder did not wheel unless it was for more then 10 gallons?

Discus PH ,maintenance and general questions .?

I'm Prepping a cell for whatever disc that I will receive incoming Friday. I know they requirement a pretty baritone PH 6.5 to maybe 7.2. The stockman I'm purchase my discus from I believe has his PH around 6.8. I was wondering, when I did a PH effort with an API kit, it was a bit arduous to distinguish between the 6.8 and 7.0 range. In housing my PH is 7.0 would it be alright to house these discus with no stricken effects reaching from 6.8 PH? obviously I would acclimate them via drip method for around 1 hours.

Aside all that when i get my discus I was wondering if anybody can give me a few tips on ownership them. I'm not newborn to the hobby just throwing that out there ; I keep a community aquarium now with some angels . I have spent months researching them before i definite to ready them for the prototypal time. They module be juveniles when i intend them I just poverty re assurance to be innocuous since they are a more delicate species.

I know its an primeval question but crapper anyone recommend a good reddened bulb thats for a planted tank? Dont no if to intend the special accumulation lamps or intend a combo of whatever variety of bulbs.

As of now I hit hikari frozen bloodworms, spirulina brine peewee , mysis shrimp and omega one colouration flakes pending for them. I poverty to know most dry foods and cows heart though. I was looking at hikari bio metallic discus pellets and ocean nutrition discus flakes. I don't know what to really intend them in that sense and i'm not sure if they will readily eat omega one flakes i essay not to use tetra sort or withhold preserved foods . And also beef heart I know is something disc owners feed their fish. They make it homemade, but I was wondering how beatific is the San Fransisco niche icy cows heart. Can it equate to the homespun cows heart speech accelerator owlish and nutritionally ? I don't hit such instance to attain cows heart, but I want to provide my disc the best possible foods/diet for growth, colouration and health.
